NARS Narsissist Loaded Palette

NARS is hands down one of my favorite makeup brands.  I recently picked up the NARS Narsissist Loaded Palette from Sephora’s VIB sale and I’ve loved the looks I’ve been able to create with it!  As an owner of many neutral palettes, this one is able to give me the full range of neutral looks that I want.  The color range they’ve chosen in the 12 shades included is what impresses me.  The Narsissist Loaded Palette allows you to create beautiful cool toned taupe looks, golden looks, warm coppery looks, matte and smokey looks – basically this girl’s dream palette.  These shadows last me from morning to night so once I’ve got my eye look, I don’t have to worry about it throughout the day.  (Note:  I always use eye primer, so I don’t know how it wears without it)

Taupe and cool toned eye looks are typically what I gravitate towards the shades Windsor, Dover, and Splendor.

For Golden looks I go towards Privilege, Foix, and Versailles (maybe a little Beaumaris).

For a Coppery warm look I’d choose Foix, Castille, Alnwick and Beaumaris

To add brightness with any look I add Newbury Street and to add a little smoky depth I’d choose Montaillou or Reale.  Montaillou and Reale also work great as shadow liners.

While the palette has a good selection of both matte and satin/shimmer shades, the shades that really WOW me the satin/shimmer shades:  Beaumaris, Splendor, Alnwick, and Versailles.

I’m so happy I picked up this palette. Its definitely my go-to for any neutral tone look at the moment.

Current soft neutral look I’m loving:  Foix and Newbury Street over the lids, Dover in the crease, and a sheer wash of Alnwick

My Go-To Taupe Favorites:  Windsor as the base with Newbury Street over the lids, Dover in the Crease, a sheer wash of Splendor (how great does that sound?!), and a smidge of Reale in the corners
